BE A PART OF THE CHANGE
ADVANCE THE COMMON GOOD

LIVE UNITED THROUGH WEEK OF CARING!
It is truly remarkable what a group of caring individuals  can accomplish in such a short period of time!

When we LIVE UNITED, we can do so much more for others...and for the betterment of our community.  During the 2010 Week of Caring, that is just what happened!

This event sponsored by Northwest Savings Bank mobilized approximately 400 individuals and businesses in the county to complete hands-on projects.  Together we provided the community approximatley $50,040 in free services.  Now that is making a difference!

During this event, volunteers got a first-hand look at services provided by nonprofit agencies, parks and recreational facilities and how they impact the lives of individuals and families in our community.

Projects were completed for the following:

Butler County Children’s Center
Butler County Historical Society
Community Care Connections
Elliott Acres Therapy Riding
Father Marinaro Skatepark
           First United Methodist Church
Glade Run Lutheran Services
Lifesteps
Moraine Trails Council-BSA/Camp Bucoco
Passavant Retirement Community Center
           Salvation Army
Slippery Rock Area Park & Recreation
Sunnyview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
The Arc of Butler County
